Media and the courts were bad guys first targets historically. Guess russia didn't have time to do the full circus in Romania, unlike other targets recent.
Wow. This seems to be The Thing right now. We need to fight Trump and the Rs at every single turn and opportunity. It means we need to push our D leaders often, relentlessly. It doesn't like it's their nature to fight, to think strategically and outside tradition. We must push.
Nice to see that a court trusts their security services. Unlike the US. MAGA/Russian agents they lie & disguise their own agenda with a distrust of our countries security forces in order to manipulate elections, steal money and spread hate.
It is inconceivable that there was NO election interference in the US election and you will know who is the right leader of the Democrats when that person screams about it. There are 4 years to ratify a system that can be trusted in 4 years time.
Would running AI bot farms, paying influencers to spread disinformation, and calling in bomb threats to predominantly democratic polling sites on Election Day count as a massive Russian influence campaign?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same with the election in America on 5th Nov. Like 2016 .This vote for Trump was too clear to me. But I think it has been proved, too? I'm not interested in any conspiracy theory🤓.
THIS IS HORRENDOUS! The ONLY reason this happened is because the Prime Minister didn't make it to the second round of elections by 2k votes! This will motivate that Russian puppet's base EVEN MORE to vote for him!
More people will point and say that he's right about the system!
The US should do the same. Trump and his thugs should not be allowed to destroy 250 years of democracy. Isn't it amazing that the countries that learnt democracy from the US now practice it better than the US?
Wow, this is great. Why couldn’t America and U.K. be so bold?Trump and Brexit were massively influenced by Russia. It’s blatantly obvious. The destabilization of western politics caused by these events has been Russia’s long term strategy since Aleksandr Dugin wrote Foundations of Geopolitics.
Happening in France, Italy, Georgia, Hungary, Germany and everywhere. They are meddling to distract so they can silently win their agenda of European domination
Regardless of his views (far-)right/left, the interference of foreign powers in our sovereign's country elections is illegal and severely flawing the election process. As such, the Constitutional Court has ruled to annul the first round, and call for remake of the elections.
My spouse, who is Romanian, is in Bucuresti on an extended visit. She's voted 3 times already and is providing me with daily updates. They are having quite the time over there.
Bravo Romania, this is how to deal with the Russian disinformation campaigns!
This should be precedent for other countries to counter Russian propaganda and election interference.
Declassified intelligence reports indicate that Russian entities orchestrated a coordinated campaign to boost Georgescu's profile on social media, notably TikTok, by employing paid influencers and executing cyber-attacks on election infrastructure.
We are fucked! No one understands why it took them so long to acknowledge russia's interference in the elections. Last week there were parliamentary elections, and the russian-backed parties got a lot of votes. For the first time, we will have 3 extremist parties in parliament.
Everyone, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, needs to IMMEDIATELY write to their Congressional representative AND the House Ethics Committee chair & ranking member, & DEMAND the release of the Gaetz report. Ludicrous! His victims deserve justice. He may still be nominated for a job. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/matt-gaetz-house-ethics-report_n_675234bee4b0a7189dd8c1ed
So once again, only the US can't figure out how to deal with foreign influence, far-right extremists, insurrectionists, voting interference, etc. Great job, US!
Canada isn’t doing much better. China & India interfered in the leadership of the Conservative Party to install the IDU puppet Poilievre & RUSSIA directed million$ via Tenet Media to boost his engagement so he can get 100% unaccountable power w. ~<40% of voted in our broken FPTP elxn system.
Seriously, how brain-dead have people become? It's like we reached inside our brains and turned off the light lights that warn us when we are being bamboozled. I mean, every time smn on the right feeds me a line of b.s. it takes all of 10 seconds to find the truth, but they just close the curtains.
Obviously, the government of Romania HAS a backbone. Whereas, our own government is not strong enough to stand up to it's internal oppressors. And it will get worse until the Citizens stand, LOCK STEP together and make it otherwise!

They had to move faster with this decision.
Elon musk - a literal russian paid agent - has just spent more than $250M to get trump elected.
As well as other billionaires did.
DEMAND THE RECOUNT, DEMOCRATS!!!
WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK?!?!
