Post-metal and edging both live and die by the same things: how long can it stave off the eruption without anyone getting the bored, how enjoyable is the journey, how good is the climax, and how well do they ease you back down to earth.

Aaaaand there's the heavy bit kicking in. Complete with delicate vocal harmonies.

I could wax lyrical about Stillness for days. Inter Arma are my favourite active band, and had been for 5 years when that song came out. But even by that degree of love, that blew my mind. Whole new dimensions.
