Striking workers in Washington State will now get unemployment from the state.
A bill giving workers out on strike 6 weeks of unemployment insurance was just signed into law after passing both chambers.
Workers affected by employer lockouts will also benefit from the new law.

Great idea if not abused.
Give a pat on the back but do better than this. We don't get progress by crawling when we should be walking or running.
Federal employs have a right to strike.
Need to stop granting rights then having a "but" to the right.
Blue: a little help at the rough spots
Red: just pull harder on the nonexistent boot straps on the boots that wore out long ago because your crap wages are in the toilet so billionaires can refloat yachts they bought with the blood sweat and tears of poor people.
What happened to that?
And why are they cool with letting other people who continue to work foot their bills? That doesn't sound pro-labor to me at all.
