I want to see stand up comedian Sam Morril. Tickets are 65, plus fee. It's 4+ hours away, 100 in gas. Need to stay overnight, 150. Need to eat, 60. My cheap, hour long comedy show on a Tuesday night is now $400 and a 2 day commitment, a month in advance. So I'm not going.
And THAT is rural living.
