Wild that the United States literally voted for division over unity. As if the last 8 years of Trumpism tearing families & friends apart just wasn't enough.
Canada, Australia, Germany have shown that people want everyone to have DIGNITY. They won't accept cruelty.
But if progressives worldwide don't figure out how to do SOMETHING about mass immigration (check your thermometers this summer; it's here) every nations will soon go far-right authoritarian.
Congratulations! Wonder what unity feels like. Here in the US we are going through hell. We should follow Australia & Canada's lead. But that takes truth and a fired up populace willing to vote the disruptors out.
I was told when I was just in Australia last week that it’s $200. I looked it up and It’s $50 first time offense and $75 for every offense after that. A man who went to court was charged $300. $50-$75 is a lot for the average person these days.
that's state elections and there are different fines depending on which one. the fine's 20 bucks for the federal. if you choose to go to court then there can be additional fines. and regardless of the amount, voting's worth not having to pay that extra 20, 50, 300 bucks
