has anyone seen this one? I went into this blind and god I loved it. Slow burn maybe, but I loved how existential it was… underrated gem. #filmsky

Ooh! Adding to my watch list! I love these underseen gems, like The Dark and the Wicked.

Got to stream it as part of a virtual Sundance package offered during COVID. Loved it. And Noomi Rapace was brilliant!

Totally! The supernatural elements and body horror made it fit the genre but definitely a drama as well

An incredible movie that I am always thinking about. How it made me think about who I am in the body I was born with.

Fucking phenomenal.
I think you'll like The Devil's Bath (2024) if you haven't seen it already-- both films beautifully transport their audience to a hyper-specific time, place, and culture.

I saw it a couple years back. It was like Terrence Malick made a gory drama about witches. I liked it a lot.

I will check it out. She was also great in "Lamb" 2021 now there was a weird, yet brilliant film...
