I played Assassin's Creed Shadows in its Balanced mode on a PS5 Pro for awhile and thought "hey, this looks really good!" The PC version absolutely ruined that. PC version looks fantastic, makes the PS5 Pro version look like a last-gen port by comparison. - ThreadSky

But my PC has an RTX2070 and a crappy 1080p monitors, so I’m pretty sure the PS5 Pro on my OLED TV will be best for me.

I'm surprised that my 3080 runs it with RTGI and everything at max mostly at 60fps, sometimes it drops to like 54 frames but who cares it looks so good.

What's so impressive to me is how well it performs while looking as good as it does, I haven't dropped below 60 running it with zero upscaling and with everything cranked on a 7900 XTX, it's great.

For a while consoles haven't kept up with mid to high end PCs, especially against the RTX xx80/90 GPUs.
That's why the PS5 pro isn't selling very well, it's kinda pointless for most consumers, it doesn't compete with "professional" PCs and it has an appalling MSRP for the "no professional" gamer.

Looking forward to put the 4090 to work whenever i get to play this AC. Been so long since ive been curious to try one of those games out. Been like this for at least a decade at this point. Consoles are solely for exclusives and that's it.
