There's already Hawkeye technology in place to assess goaltending objectively so the league has to go to a system where whether or not it's called on the floor you can retroactively fix it just as they do 2s vs 3s. Or in OKC vs CLE last night a shot was taken away when replay saw a plyr stepped OOB.

In an avg NBA game there are approx 10 blocked shots and ~ 0.6 defensive/offensive goaltending violations. There's no reason those plays can't be checked behind the scenes in the replay center w/ use of Hawkeye and a replay center scoring changed can be initiated in the rare times it's appropriate.

That can be easily implemented in the first 46 mins. I accept there will be challenges on how to do it in the last two mins but figure it out. We need to do right by the coaches/players who pour their lives into this and the fans we want to emotionally and financially invest in consuming the league.

They have a fix. If you aren't sure, call the goaltend and then review it.
Remember how they used to call a jump ball on any out of bounds at the end of games so they could review ? Same thing

Yep. That's what's so maddening about it. There's a tool at their disposal to help. So since they can't be trusted to make that decision under pressure the next step is put in a system with a contingency for a replay center initiated review to ensure a call of that magnitude isn't inexcusably missed

I think this is the most feasible solution. Have a group in Secaucus or wherever at the ready to chime in and fix some of these missed calls.
