Haha I gave you a Steilvorlage. Interesting preprint. I have only glanced through it yet, but it still seems a bit speculative because we don’t have census data on iq or personality, but I appreciate your effort.
Yeah we don't have census data on them, but we do have other kinds of data, e.g., we provide fluid intelligence norms for the German population. They might not be as good estimates of population distributions as census data of demographic variables, but they will be good enough for many purposes.
How much effort we invest into deriving a set of norms will depend on how high the stakes of their use will be. We should have norms for all commonly used tests but we should probably put more effort into norms used to derive benchmarks for a clinical inventory than for a test used in basic research
