I’m not attacking this idea, just asking genuinely. If soccer in Buffalo were to take off and an MLS team an ultimate end goal, would this stadium be eligible to be retrofitted to MLS capacity standards? If not, is this stadium putting a limit on the growth potential of pro soccer in Buffalo?

Fair enough. I live in Nashville and attend matches at Geodis Park often. We have a 30,000 seat capacity, and the MLS having albeit back-nine talent like Beckham, Messi, et al is a pretty awesome thing. I’d love that for Buffalo.

Nashville SC was in the USL Championship before it joined MLS, but at this point there are only a limited number who'll pay $500m+ for membership.
