OKAY SO first of all, the ORIGINAL BARD, mr William Shakespeare himself. he Barded so hard he became canon in every multiverse where bards exists. all my npcs in d&d regularly quote shakespeare. his plays and sonnets exist in every setting. the globe theatre is real. he's v much alive and..confused.
Meet Saylor Twift. Bardic college dropout, because nobody wants them to be their responsibility. They're convinced they're the best bard to ever bard (truth proves contrary). They've been around for so long under so many pen names, nobody knows their real origin. A lovable idiot, my pg for 20 years.
Slack Babbath, from the underground Bardic College of Heavy Metal. has BARD HARD tattooed on his knuckles because that's what he does all day every day. bard. hard. so hard he broke one of his horns on stage. infernal superstar, he cries while reading romance books.
CΓΆtley MrΓΌe, Bardic College of Whispers. He died for 5 minutes, a cleric brought him back to life and he awoke swearing he had heard the bardic call. Fun guy at parties, he's the one who brings the ouija board to "spice up things". His ballads are --haunting, to say the least.
Lennifer Jopez, Bardic College of Dance. Nobody knows her real age, she looks younger even for her elven genes. Was born in poverty and marvellously and skillfully danced her way to the top, but wants everyone to remember she's still "Lenni from the block". Her admirers are called Jopaladins.
Tethro Jull, Bardic College of Spirits. She comes from a looooong dynasty of bards and has inherited all their stories. all of them. Her performances are some of the LONGEST ever, spectators use to pack up snacks and blankets. the applauds she gets last even longer than her performances.

yes.
I saw it years ago and it has lived in my head rent free ever since!!
It's still a really great cast album! I think when I saw it the actor who played Nick was already gone and playing King George in Hamilton
