I have a fairly good read on people, body language etc but Mark Goodyear in the Fox Hollow Murders documentary has me stumped. I do not know what to take away from his interview, do y’all? I watched this yesterday and have no idea what to make of this guy. But yes, that they just didn’t even try to identify these victims is heartbreaking. So many families without answers.

He sends a chill down my spine...I have been trying for a week to fathom how he has never been forced to answer questions under oath after his story changed, and with two witness statements that basically corroborate he was involved

Just watched this last night after seeing your post a few days ago. I don’t know what to think. He seems to love the attention and being suspected guilty, but he also seems scatterbrained enough that it’s hard to picture him as the mastermind. If anything, I’m thinking semi-willing accomplice.

I think the take away is that, regardless if he had a bigger role in it or not, he gets off on the idea that he "is" indecipherable, and that's why he goes to great lengths to muddy the water. For that reason, and in the context of what he is being interviewed for, I don't trust him for a second.

I suppose what I’m struggling to decide is whether Goodyear is the type of person to just enjoy the attention and proximity to Herb and will therefore embellish the truth and his exaggerate his involvement OR he straight up was an accomplice, or worse? And his remarks about Herb’s suicide were 😬

Really hard to believe Mark wasn’t involved but I didn’t like the misdirects that he may have spearheaded. Lots of info left out about previous murders Herb is suspected of before he bought the farm, search the “I 70 strangler”. Same MO, but before he had a place to dispose of, before Mark.

I thought the same thing. There's so much those cops should have followed up on in that first interview, especially after that other man came forward and said Mark was there during a murder. I bet he still has the tapes.
