i’m in this in-between state with my art rn were i want to have this specific style but my years of art training make me correct anything that seems off anatomically so o guess i’m not allowed to have a gun style again ever

super relatable😬 I was forced to learn composition (my artist blindspot) to justify making shapes a little not anatomically correct but for myself it got easier with repetition. good luck with it!
idk if it helps but I've always found style development to be a consequence of like. A combination of a) the things you like and want to incorporate and b) constraints on the ways in which one is able to make art. Like style is the shorthand you wind up developing as you adapt to your limitations.
tl;dr maybe what's required here is some experimentation with limited options, some challenges that might force you to adapt in weird ways to convey the things you want in a new, visually interesting shorthand.
Then again I'm not trained in art so there's probably better advice you could get, lmao.
