Partly but not really. It’s not about the sex, it’s about odd characteristics and behaviour associated with the sex that are unattractive. The same thing exists with men that men don’t like.

In my very limited life experience, i’ve noticed that women tend to use the term slut on other women much more often than men.

Otherwise I couldnt care less what anyone else likes to get up to consensually, life is far too short for holding yourself to another’s ideals.

I think that is true. There is, as we see particularly in the US, but also in the UK a growing band of comfortable conservative women who won’t rock the patriarchal boat, condemn other women who do, and are happy to betray the rights their feminist mothers fought so hard for in the 60s and 70s.

A lot of men don't. Personally, I find women who make and live by their own rules much more attractive. Sometimes I want to be in control. Sometimes I want her to be. I like to feel desired. Good sex is teamwork. 😈

Definitely not. I positively hate "labels" like this. There's no such thing as a slutty woman. It's amazing how terms such as this are all derogatory to women. Tart, Slut, Whore, Dyke etc. There are no equivalent terms for men that I'm aware of.
Just be what you are and sod opinionated bigots.

I do not know if this is true. Our societal norms around sex have been so ludicrously twisted by corrupt religious doctrine for so many millennia that is hard to know what men would think if left to form logical opinions. That sex & romantic love are some of our greatest human gifts is indisputable.

BTW, thank you for sharing the article. Plenty of food for thought & reflecting upon what it perhaps shows for western society in general & how our formative years shape our adulthood landscapes. Perhaps our "cultural police", such as religion, target our teen years to create lifetime compliance.

It would be v illuminating to see if these general trends held for subjects moving on from adolescence into their 20s. I have no idea what the data might show in this regard (and it has been a while since I was in my 20s). Intuitively, I might suspect that the norms we learn in high school continue.

This is a fascinating article. I agree that the data supports the idea of sexual promiscuity double standards by gender for peer popularity. I was surprised to see that popularity of boys w/ more sexual partners went up in the eyes of girls, but not vice versa. I would have expected the opposite.

I like women who enjoy sex. I like that they have pleasure.It excites me to please my partner. I know you like women, so do I. Tbh it turns me on much more to please them. And yes even at 63 I enjoy sex. I enjoy giving pleasure . In giving we receive😂😂
