I must say: Trump as figurehead is a profound misreading.

The soldiers, police, militias, and paramilitaries are loyal to Musk, not Trump.

Musk is merely a classic supportive oligarch, a source of funds and a public face for unpopular decisions in exchange for Trump’s favoritism.
