The next year is going to be revealing: an SNP platform for a vague ‘stronger voice’, or full-on Indy push? Personally I think this is the last opportunity for the SNP to harvest the Indy vote. If there is then no progress then that will be that for the SNP.

Polling suggests 65-70% support amongst voters. I’m not an snp member, but I imagine they’d probably want to hold a referendum on joining.

I’m hope that once we become independent we will hold more referendums on the big questions such as joining the EU, and be grown up about them.
That way we don’t have to pin our all hopes on election manifestos every 5 years!

Don’t think for one second that an emboldened Reform won’t come after the Scottish Parliament. Just as Democrats in the USA have been shocked at democratic institutions being dismantled, Reform are following a similar playbook.

Reform UK's Scottish Campaign Director Martin Greene has said that it's not one of their objectives to close Holyrood, but I think this if true, is only short-term. They will continue the Unionist strategy of undermining Holyrood with the help of the media, & then state it's not fit for purpose.

The SNP needs to up their messaging game now. There are plenty of people who voted SNP last time who are ambivalent about independence- show them that SNP are left of Labour and those people will stay with you.
