While labour leaders are almost always out in force supporting progressive candidates and parties, more and more of our rank and file members are supporting and voting for the Right. We need to do a better job engaging with our members about political issues and why they matter.

The labour movement has really lost a whole generation of workers to conservatism and unless we start asking some difficult questions about how the left let that happen, it’s hard to imagine things getting better
