i think these are linked with giobooks- they mention that site in the 100s of spam emails they send me (never used them, so i don't know why they do this). They seem to have a ring of 'book promo' sites ReadiLn, GreatNovelReads, Writin and fake names they email me from.

its seems to be yet another 'indie books' paid for promo site, with a whole host of similar websites. I've somehow gotten on their mailing list, and get tons of emails from them, where they promo all these different paid promo sites. I suppose they are all run by the same folks.

perhaps let writer beware know, so they can add this to the article, we can make an updated list of all their sites. Indiebookhunt is another giobooks mention/ Artisanbookreviews have popped up on bsky and started following a bunch, I don't know if they are legit or not though

I suspect that once the word gets around, the profile is valueless. It must take a while to follow enough authors to generate interest. But once it's been flagged, burn it and try again. Book promotion is a legitimate service, but there are too many scammers, it's just too risky.
