I agree with President-elect Trump that Congress should terminate the debt limit and never again govern by hostage taking.

She's saying "stop threatening us with a good time" because the debt ceiling is something Republicans have been using to fuck up government for years.

I know the debt ceiling does not exist in other countries and it’s yet another thing critically wrong with US govt, but I see any praise for President Musk or his VP as capitulation. Maybe I’m wrong on this one.

I think that’s true, but I just can’t do rhetorical strategy right now. I need leaders who will tell the plain truth, which is that a hate group has taken over the US govt and intends to bankrupt the country and sell it for parts.

I guess that where I'm coming from is I don't want people to feel discouraged and disempowered by thinking that the people who *are* fighting for us aren't. You know? I feel like it makes us feel more alone than we are, and makes it seem harder to fight back in our own ways.

So I feel like yeah, not every line of rhetoric works for everyone, but Warren's out there being very loud (often in more direct ways than that skeet) in telling the Musk/Trump cabal to fuck off. And I want folks to know she's NOT capitulating, bc that's good news, and true news, and we need some. ❤️

It might be one of those "tone is hard in writing" things? I'm 99.9% sure that she's not praising them in the slightest. She's spent the rest of the week (and the last like 10 yrs) loudly saying hell no, we won't cooperate with these assholes. So in light of that I feel like the "I agree with..." is
