Put me in the camp of issuing pre-emptier pardons for Robert Mueller, Jack Smith, Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, Mark Milley and all of the folks that the Trump team is targeting for vengeance. Every one of them.
MAGA has made it quite clear that they find our norms of conduct to be altogether quaint and they will ride roughshod over them at will, though they will howl like banshees if nonMAGA infringes on those same norms in any way. That’s what we’re dealing with.

Yeah. Hunter doesn’t even make a top five list of ugliest pardons of the last decade. My list would be Manafort, Stone, Flynn, Charles Kushner, and Eddie Gallagher (convicted war criminal).
