Of course it is. guess what else leech insurance companies do (at least in my country) they charge higher premiums to people who do not have private hospital cover before age THIRTY. Either you pay “lower” premiums for 60 years or you bend over and pay more once you are forced to get a policy😒

It goes up even more in 2027. The reason is that the individual mandate will be gone and the marketshare for ACA underwritten policies will plummet in 2026. To satisfy insurance company overhead and shareholder return demands, policies' premiums will skyrocket. Churn it another year and it dies.
