I was just a kid in the 70s, but no one then seemed to think of Hot Lips as a demeaning nickname. Now it would be, and probably very period accurate for the Korean War.

Agreed while her body of work is mostly unknowns etc, she had a depth to her role as the head nurse in MASH that few TV nurses have. The closest would have to be Dana Delaney as Nurse Colleen McMurphy in China Beach years later
