Freedom House [paramedics] had compassion for the community... They told me when you walk into a person’s home, you’re a guest. That’s the No.1 thing they brought to the table: They cared. They addressed everybody by their names. They respected them and asked permission before providing treatment.

My son is a paramedic. He learned about the Freedom House Ambulance Service when he started EMT training. He learned about Phil Hallen (sp?) and Dr Safar (sp?) My son went on for his Paramedic license. Freedom House Ambulance Service will never be forgotten in my home.

Hollywood should make a tribute movie and honor these people. Without movies like “Hidden Figures” or “The Six Triple Eight” or “Men of Honor” dumb white boys like me aren’t likely to learn or be exposed to their stories. (You know why)
