the reason why I want a copy of a black sword (and why it's fine if it has imperfections), is to combine it with the normal broken sword detail from Grimaldus, to use a detail from the original kit, upgrade it, and reference Bayard, who Grimladus fought alongside in Helsreach

ok that's all the big parts I want for the chest in place (if only temporarily until I figure out the small details around them), time to work on the arms/weapons, and of course I gotta add a scope to the plasma gun, it was a part of the old model I quite liked

That is something I wanted to focus in on, I am dreadnought-ing Grimaldus, a reclusiarch, the senior chaplain who oversees their chapters relics, and his normal kit is almost a mini-parade of relics itself

upgrading the plasma gun a little, using a servo skull for the end of the optic (and it's halo is a nice pseudo iron-sight look), and since it feel a bit front heavy I'm building out the back with some titanicus weapon parts, and arranging plasma cells/batteries on that

The servo skull scope is a good idea, but using the iron halo to evoke iron sights or a reticule is genius.

adding a few non-mechanical details to dangle off the front of the gun, feel like I should add more but I'll take another look after I do all the wires, until then there's other bits like finishing the other shin, and detailing shoulders, starting off with some trim
