The NHL has suspended Maple Leafs' Ryan Reaves five games for a headshot on Oilers' Darnell Nurse.

After seeing their teammate bloodied and dazed by the hit, the Oilers questioned why Reaves didn’t do more to ensure the collision was delivered more safely.
