If everyone has the info, it no longer is an advantage. As baseball has forever, it comes down to talent on the field. But mainly it comes down to which teams spend more. Look at the last 25 years or so. Its very likely a top 6-7 payroll team has won the WS. Like the Dodgers just bought theirs.

Knowing about something and being able to do something about it are two very different things.

Even if the data says a pitcher is likely to throw a certain pitch in a specific situation, if you can't hit it, does it really matter that you know it's coming?

What a stupid thing to say. “Do we really need bats? Everyone has them now, is there really an advantage?” Alert: if all your competitors have a thing and are using a thing, you better have it and use it too. It’s a disadvantage not to.
