I love the Heat/Jimmy, but he gets hurt a lot. Sometimes I wonder if part of it is that he wants out. I think if he would be healthy,& get points, play defense as he's able, the Heat could possibly make a championship run. It'll also take the whole team to be healthy, play well, & close out games.

The last time the roster wasn’t mediocre was when LeBron played there lol. When guys leave Miami, you see how average they are.

Yes, Spo is one of the best coaches in the league (criminally underrated), but it wasn’t coaching that led Jimmy to play out of his mind during those two playoff runs.

I don’t think people consider him even a top 15 player at this point, but he is Miamis best player. He’s prob top 20-30 (but he ups his play in playoffs).

Pat Riley started this by making it clear he didn’t want to resign Jimmy for a long term deal. Jimmy’s been committed to the Heat and led them to two Finals in four years.

So Jimmy’s response at this point is the most reasonable position. And he’s not overpaid, unless you think owners deserve more
