Even if Davis was 25 in his prime, he is not worth a Luka. Davis would put up pretty numbers on a losing Pelicans team while Luka has taken his team to the playoffs many times including the NBA Finals.

Lakers traded away their whole defense for another ball dominant (and injury prone) superstar. They’ll stay mid, this does not move the needle, but have secured a face for the franchise if LeBron retires (which may not be soon - why not go for the historic father & 2 sons in the NBA? 🙄)
