I don't care either way, as my team (NE) is AFC. NE has a QB who could probably run it well, they just don't have the offensive line to do so yet. But when that time comes, if it's still legal? I wouldn't want them to run it. People stumping for this are gonna look like 🤡 when their QB gets hurt.

Seems like the real issue is the officials not calling the offensive player down when their forward progress stops, they just let them keep heaving and hoing. Teams would stop calling the play if they made the offense actually punch through the line instead of letting them sag into the endzone.

There is no evidence that it increases any injury risk more than any other play but sure have 2 of 3 coaches reference irrelevant considerations. One of whose team couldn’t execute it in the AFC Championship game

Yeah, I've never seen an injury after a tush push. It's just heavy guys pushing each other. No violent contact. Defenses will figure it out. Or not.

Mahomes' kneed ended up in his calf, which is why Chiefs dont run it.

That said I agree with people who say its no more unsafe than any other play. This is just football. And the people who want to ban it do it cuz they personally cant run or stop it. They should just simply learn to do it better.

We've seen more injuries on bad turf than in the tush push - maybe make it illegal for owners to have a crappy field
