The manning kids had the talent to back it up. Sanders is not as good as the media says. He was never a top 5 talent he was always day 2 and when you're day 2 and don't do any draft process it's very easy to drop to day 3.

they both participated in the draft process. combines, neither of them were seniors but probably would've done senior bowl. they did interviews with a lot of teams. Sanders did not do any of that, and it would've been very helpful for him because there's a perception of Hunter beefing his stats. 1/

also Sanders only did interviews with top 5 teams. so once he dropped out every other team is relying on what those 5 teams learned in their interview. I also think teams were hesitant to take him on as a clear backup to a top 20-12ish QB because of media pressure. unfortunately teams can handle 2/
