I urge anyone who truly believes the NFL tries to tips the scales for the Chiefs to not watch any of their games unless it's against your favorite team. The NFL only cares about their wallets, doesn't matter if you watch to complain or not, high viewership is high viewership
Bills fans aren’t going to like this since refs biased calls kept them from winning the Superbowl and subsequently getting seven prime-time games this season.
I know! I'm esp. furious to see Cleveland on the 0 list. They have a very interesting line-up this year. Lots of changes. I'd like to see them, even though I'm not usually one of their fans, being from Pittsburgh.
Yeah man, i understand that previous seasons they sucked to watch but at least now their rookies make it interesting. Though im sure this schedule was finished before the draft so I can’t entirely blame the NFL
Browns deserve the 0…. Tired of this franchise getting bailed out, put out a good product or go bust… they don’t understand the city, building a stadium in the suburbs in possibly the ugliest area in the region with nothing around it…. The whole thing is a perpetual dumpster fire
Most cities build in the cheapest place possible, assuming fans will care enough to drive there. Washington learned differently. They're going back into DC, at great cost, after moving out to suburban Maryland.
This list seems to be missing some context of what constitutes prime time /shrug
Vikings technically have 7 prime time as well. I presume they are not including the 2 international games on NFL network nor the Christmas game on Netflix. But those are considered major games IMO.
I know when TNF football started every team did play on Thursday but you right they don't care about that it's all about what team will people wanna watch
I'm guessing they made this list based on the usual nationwide viewership of these teams. (For ex. many people who have no team in their city follow the Cowboys.) I first thought it could be the size of the TV viewing areas in those cities, but that certainly doesn't explain Kansas City.
I would venture a guess that the Falcons are followed by the entire states of Georgia, South Carolina & maybe other Southern states that have no pro team.
SCarlinian here, not aware of many Falcons fans at all. Mostly Cowboys, Commanders, and Steelers fans with a good bit of Panthers and Packers. Panthers are the regional TV option most of the time.
I guess a lot of the warm states have retirees who bring their fandom with them. I notice in Southern Arizona, where I live, the most bumper-stickers I see are Packers and Steelers. In Phoenix, they're Bears fans. Each 3 to 1 over the AZ Cardinals.
