Finally the downfall of the 49ers. Purdy earned the contract, but now there is less money to pay everyone else. The overall team talent should go down. Elite quarterbacks are good enough to carry the team, but like Dak Prescott the dude is not good enough to carry team on his own.
Mediocre QB’s don’t have the best advanced stats for the 3 years they have been in the league. And lead their team to 2 NFC title games and 1 superbowl and 4 playoff victories. 1 pro bowl and votes for MVP.
