My bad. I should have said 2/52 (since there are now 26 players on a team). But actually, in 2024, there were 60! athletes who suited up for the Dodgers on their way to the World Championship. So Mookie gets 1/60th of the title.

The idea that Mookie was going to leave Boston is pure speculation. The only truth is that the price of signing him was going up (he was the best player in baseball). The Sox decided they didn’t want to pay him and were not particularly interested in getting much in return.
