1) It's on TNT/Max.
2) Scheduling is stupid. Just play every other day so it's easy to keep track of.
3) Not all of the games have been that great, doesn't help set a tone with a blowout in game 2.

I think current events in the US have a role in this. I’ve still been watching the games, but can say that I read a whole lot less of The Athletic due to my desire to stay current on happenings in the political sphere. Sports have become less important.

I think it's because there were so few competitive series since the first round - other than TOR/FLA - a lot of pretty quick series - if the 'middle' of the playoffs aren't entertaining, we Americans move on. The schedule didn't help-it felt like a month between the conf finals and the SCF starting.

Because the WNBA and arguably MLS are now more interesting than the NHL. Ice hockey is still ridiculously white in an increasingly diverse country and has the highest bar of entry in terms of monetary commitment for young athletes by far. And that’s assuming you live within an hour of an ice rink.
