We were temporarily deafened by a ringing bell in the tower of the Kreuzkirche in Dresden. I have a video, but what's the point when the output sound level is controlled!
I found the multiple metal straps holding the bells to their yokes interesting. Sort of impressive and medieval. Just today found this spread by the designer Bradbury Thomson which seems to indicate that he liked them too.
