It reminded me of my late father. He was a wonderful gardener. When I was a child, we had well over 100 rose bushes in our garden. It's been well over 40 years since he died. ❤️

Stan Freberg was a comic genius, my Mom had this song on an LP of 50's parodies and I loved them all as a child in the 60's and later as an adult. The amazing thing is that these were all cut live to mono and some are full production numbers with orchestra and background singers.
