Paradoxically, large majority of Slovakian voters voted for pro-EU and pro-NATO parties, as HLAS coallition partner (14%) clearly declares being pro-EU and pro-NATO. So, only 5% of SNS votes and 23% of Smer voters (not all of them) could be considered “choosing a wrong side”. Gotta fix democracy.
You clearly know a lot more about what is happening in Slovakia than I do as I only know about the bottom line. I must look into it a bit further. Alas, it doesn't change the bottom line, though. What you say about democracy seems to be being said about nearly every democracy these days. Hmm.
