He didn’t seem to be scrambling in the press conferences I saw on AP, more moving purposefully to a clear goal. And making the announcement which effectively cancelled US$73b of defence purchases in French (only) was pitch-perfect trolling of the illiterate monolingual buffoons in the White House. 😂
