@jmaris https://floss.social/@kde There are many people out there who are still running Windows 7. There are even some people still running Windows XP or 2000. It isn't very safe, but people are still doing it. I suppose people will be running old Windows 10 installations 15 or 20 years from now.

@sam @jmaris https://floss.social/@kde I was thinking along the same lines. Most people don't know what Linux is or what a distro is, so getting them to choose a flavour is an immediate problem that will turn most people away. Even recommending 3 is probably going to halt people in their tracks.
