It seems like a lot of people these days aren't interested in understanding the people they disagree with, and would rather just explain others' behaviour with "they're evil, what did you expect". Which is sad.
Or just posting followers-only, even on a non-private account - not having your post boosted IMO significantly decreases the chance of someone who categorically disagrees with you will see it.
