That was a honest sigh of relief because, before the layoffs happened, we were about to enter Game Hell Apocalypse 2000 and try and get Wizard Blocks to field test in about six weeks.

We were only about 1/6 of the way done when this picture was taken. The effort would have killed us.

We were fooling ourselves by thinking 1-2 programmers and and 3-4 artists could complete a game alone in the normal span of a pin development cycle.

Wizard would have pulled in every coder in the building except maybe Keith and Dwight so they could keep kickstarting Playboy/Haunted House/Game4TBD.

Yeah the art assets especially took so much longer, and everyone was still getting their feet wet figuring out the tools.
