The bottom of the IF depth chart would normally be pretty inconsequential, but with the extreme uncertainty at multiple spots on the Cubs IF as constructed, it's a bit more salient. And that, to me, begs the question -- are any of Cowles, Vazquez, Workman, Brujan better than Nick Madrigal?
