Just read that those with adhd should go lower carb, under 100 grams a day as carbs can wreck havoc with adhd. Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Carb monster here….

So I did end up going on a low carb high protein/healthy fat diet toward the end of my pregnancy due to gestational diabetes and I do remember feeling less groggy and more focused, I was also told my my neuro it would also help reduce seizure activity in my brain.
With almost all of these tricks, the answer is "maybe?". Every person with ADHD is different and reacts differently to diets/meds/therapy. Might be the most unhelpful answer possible, but "try it and see if it works for you". Also, consult a dietist first before. Your body needs carbs too.
