They also drown in water, unless they're dry apparently.
I dunno, the update just feels a bit, ill thought out? It doesn't make any logical sense, unless they're implying there was some kind of extreme climate event... in the nether.

I'm not saying the Ghastlings aren't cute, and it looks fun to ride a happy ghast, and they could be handy for doing tall builds *if* the movement control of them is any good, it just feels... stapled in?

The community has been asking for dragons, there's LITERALLY a dragon egg right there, Mojang could have added a mechanic to hatch it and tame the baby, have the Ender dragon drop an egg each time it's defeated for multiplayer servers or something...

I don't hate the idea of a happy, tame ghast at all, I just wish it made more sense within the lore of the game (such as it is). I dunno, maybe sad ghasts are the survivors of the apocalypse that crispified the dried ghasts, maybe that's why they scream, for their lost, crisped babies. Dark.
