Yum. Had similar with the new Swiss asparagus. Made eggs benedict and had asparagus on the side with the hollandaise sauce over it too. No (english) muffins here but but a similar split petit pain is ok. Quick-hollandaise with a stick blender is easy + tastes great with all the rest. Again... Yum!

I once endured an all-asparagus lunch in Vienna. Never an asparagus fan, every painful course featured the awful vegetable. Even asparagus ice cream!

Oh man! We're at least a couple weeks behind in Scotland. Our local farm is in Eassie (which also has a Pictish standing stone), but there's a place in Coupar Angus that's got polytunnels, so they'll be picking soon.😋
