Yet more demented posturing from Putin. Given that he is struggling to make headway against a much smaller Ukrainian force that is having to fight with one arm tied behind its back at the moment - does anybody seriously believe he would invade a NATO country? Psy-ops are another thing, mind.

Putin can’t even “win” the war in Ukraine after more than 3 years of relentless bombing and losing nearly 1 million troops to death or injury.

Not to mention running Russia’s economy into the ground.

So, sure, why not start another war on another front.
