This. I keep hearing from people “well, there was certainly waste in the system that needed to be addressed.” Too many people think this is a baby/bathwater situation where there was some underlying good intentions. No. This is a scorched earth campaign.

I love this article. As a southern white woman, I think one thing that makes white people so jealous is seeing the strong ties among the Black community. We (whites) have been taught to look down on "lessers", even other white people, so we're always pushing each other down. Hate just brings pain.
