Arguing that USAID funding shouldn’t be restored because it’s “US propaganda” or “imperialist” despite the projected death toll in the millions is like arguing that running through a hospital pulling the plug on every patient you can find is a protest against for-profit healthcare.

That kind of money not only helps the current regime bc they can rightly cry imperialism and justly jail artists bc they took foreign money that seeks revolution.
The damage done by the stoppage is incredible and will take decades to mitigate. The dead are gone.
