He says that explicitly multiple times. The school board agreed and there is written record to support the idea that these books are intended to "disrupt heteronormativity." There's not secret here. All parties to the case agreed about what these books are.

Pretty clear that the conservatives on the Court are pretty hostile to the entire idea of public education if it means that everybody is taught the same stuff in the same classroom. I am starting to think they are all pretty cool if states wanted to resegregate theirs schools.

The 3 liberal justices should publicly describe the conservative justices in simple English for what they are. That will start a fight that we need to have, since so many people just don’t understand. E.g. they should say that Alito is a racist religious fanatic and his opinions have no basis.
