He's absolutely unfit to lead. I don't claim to speak for the CG, I'm just one person, but I do know that there are many people in the CG who are appalled by the actions of the administration in general and Hegseth and Noem in particular. I (we) want competent, mature, and qualified leadership.

CG civilians were offered both the first Fork and the DHS-specific one more recently, but there haven't been any mentions of RIFs - likely because the CG is generally already short-staffed. The hiring freeze across the government does apply to the CG, so those taking the Fork aren't being replaced.

For the record, I'm not on board with murdering anyone for any reason. But point taken! The things I'm reporting on do tend to have a US- and US-citizen-centric focus. I can do better at learning about and reporting on the actions of the military outside of the US.

(2/2) I'm also deeply concerned about who the regime might choose to replace him, though. There is a lot of potential here for Hegseth to be replaced by someone even more harmful & incompetent. The SecDef needs to be qualified and accountable, and I find it hard to believe any under Trump would be.

Keeping them in office is not the answer. If the next one at bat is equally heinous they can be pointed to the same exit door. Install a swinging door and rinse and repeat with historically unprecedented efficiency.
